ANNOUNCEMENT OF ADOPTION OF THE RIVER HAMBLE TO PORTCHESTER FLOOD & COASTAL EROSION RISK MANAGEMENT STRATEGY

PREPARED FOLLOWING THE PRINCIPLES OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT OF PLANS AND PROGRAMMES REGULATIONS 20041
The Eastern Solent Coastal Partnership [ESCP] gives notice that the River Hamble to Portchester Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management Strategy was adopted by Fareham and Gosport Borough Councils in April 2015. The Strategy was approved by the Environment Agency in April 2016. It is available for inspection alongside its Environmental Report and a Statement of Environmental Particulars (in line with Regulation 16(4)) at the locations set out below.
The River Hamble to Portchester Strategy sets out proposals to manage flood and coastal erosion risk over the next 100 years. The strategy has been led by the ESCP, on behalf of Gosport and Fareham Borough Council, and developed in partnership with AECOM.
